New traffic signals on the pedestrian crossing in Te Puke's main street are being considered by the New Zealand Transport Agency.

The potential for signals on the crossing is an option being explored in the planning process.
'We are working through due process to confirm if a change is required,” says New Zealand Transport Agency regional director Harry Wilson.
