Jonathan York from Bay Financial Partners reviews the investment markets looking at some of the latest issues including concerns about the US ‘Fiscal Cliff'.
He says while markets have adjusted following President Obama's re-election, they are now focussed on the potential ‘fiscal cliff' that the US could soon face as tax and spending cuts expire in the New Year.
'Congress needs to work pretty hard to get a solution in place before the start of next year.”
Jonathan also discusses the continuing appetite for high dividend share investments such as Chorus, Fletcher Building, the Warehouse and some property trusts.
