Reports are coming in of a crash on State Highway 29.
A caller to the 0800SunLive number says, “A petrol tanker has run into the back of a car on State Highway 29, Kaimai range.
“A petrol tanker has run into the back of a car on State Highway 29, Kaimai range.
“As you head towards Tauranga coming the crash is in the passing lane just past the Kaimai School.
“There are no injuries and the people are out of the vehicles.
“The crash is blocking the left hand passing lane but you can pass on the right.
“Police are not there yet. There are no emergency services there yet.
“There isn’t any road block. The traffic is slowing down as vehicles can keep moving and pass the car and tanker that have crashed," says the caller.
Police received reports of a two-vehicle crash on SH29 reported shortly after 1pm, says a Police spokesman.
No injuries were reported and it appears there were no road blockages.
