Emergency services are attending the scene of a vehicle crash on State Highway 25 between Whangamata and Waihi.

"A crash has been reported to emergency services just north of Golden Valley Rd," says a Waka Kotahi NZTA spokesperson. 

"This involved a two-vehicle crash at about 11.30am on Waihi Whangamata Rd, near Golden Valley Rd and Whiritoa Beach Rd," says a police spokesperson.

"The road was blocked initially but was cleared soon after."

Police say there are no reports of injuries.
