SH29/Cambridge Road Potential Death Trap

Posted on 09-11-2023 16:53 | By Watchdog

Sooner or later there will be a significant accident there causing fatalities. A van full of kids heading for school and a large vehicle colliding there would be a shocking result. My own wife got caught trying to get off SH29 onto Cambridge Road and wrote her week-old car totally off. My heart rate always speeds up as I drive up SH29 and go to turn right into Cambridge Road. I even had a guy's big Porsche Cayenne, hit the rear of my car because he did not expect me to stop at the stop sign one day. My car got significantly modified but insurance paid for the whole lot because it was not my fault. A stop sign means stop. But at that intersection people are relaxing that rule and taking chances.
Thankfully a lot of good truckies are helping by slowing down and allowing cars to move across
