Police are advising a motorcyclist has died following a crash on Hamurana Road, Rotorua.

The person received medical assistance but passed away at the scene, according to a police spokesperson.

The incident was reported to police at around 7pm on Wednesday, September 27.

The Serious Crash Unit attendinded the scene to conduct a scene examination, says the police spokesperson.
