There is steady growth in economies around the world. While for many countries' economies this growth is small, there are some exceptions, such as China, which has reported a 12 per cent growth for the week year-on-year.

It is also an interesting time in world markets as America is entering its reporting season. There will be a wealth of information available in the coming weeks to provide better indicators as to how the US's economy is faring after being in its worst economic shape last year since the great depression about 80 years ago.
