Tauranga's waterfront is revving into life as the National Street Rods Association holds its annual Rods on the Waterfront show.
Show organiser Rex Moyle says last year they had some of the best cars in New Zealand at the show and this year it is likely to go one better.

'We made four national magazines and got television coverage as well which is pretty good for our first show.”
The Saturday show runs from 10am until 3pm in The Strand Car Park. In the case of bad weather it will be held inside the Spring St Car Park.
'We'll have dragsters, bugs, race cars, classics and hot rods and entry is only $5.”
Rex says there are cars coming from as far afield as Wellington, Whangarei and Waiheke Island.
