A lot of New Zealand Companies are reporting this week. Freightways reported higher than expected profits and a reasonable growth outlook. Mainfreight's report is a little disappointing.

The TrustPower bond issue has been heavily oversubscribed and there are very few bonds left. They are very highly sought after being snapped up by NZ public.

The issue about state asset sales rumbles on. The government is still looking to get underway in October or November this year and IRG are taking registrations of interest.

The global share market has performed reasonably well. Overall the USA share market grinds well as we enter interesting times over the next two months.
