A crash between a truck and a van is causing traffic delays on Hewletts Road.
The crash is in the east-bound lane at the intersection of Tasman Quay and Hewletts Rd.
The van is on its side, blocking one lane.
Emergency services including fire and ambulance are now on scene.
It is unknown if there are any injuries.
Motorists are advised to expect further delays.
An earlier crane truck crash on Tauranga Harbour Bridge is causing significant traffic delays on Saturday morning with traffic backed up on Hewletts Rd.

Traffic in Tauranga is abysmal. Took me over one hour to drive from mount to 13th Ave last week, no specific reason other than totara st and 11th Ave on-ramp is slow due to Cameron road upgrade. Now two trucks this morning have crashed? Cops should prosecute to the max the drivers at fault.
