A vehicle has crashed in Paengaroa, hitting a fence and garage.

Police received a report of a vehicle crashing into a fence and garage near the intersection of Wilson Road South and Old Coach Road about 9.45am.

"The driver was assessed by ambulance as in a moderate-minor condition," says a Police spokesperson.
