One person is in a critical condition after a crash in Te Poi.
The crash involving two vehicles was at the intersection of State Highway 28 and Smith Road, says a police spokesperson.
The crash happened around 4.30pm and there are cordons in place as police attend the scene, says the spokesperson.
Traffic is being diverted and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
