One person has suffered serious injuries in a crash on Maungatapu Road.
Police have confirmed they were alerted to the incident just after 6pm.
Three cars are said to have been involved in the crash.
'Initial reports are that three people have received injuries - one minor, one moderate and one serious,” says a Police spokesperson.
Police advise that the road appears to be blocked.
