Kane Williamson is back in pink for the first time in seven years.

An epic showcase of cricket at Seddon Park is being promised, as the BLACKCAPS stacked Northern Knights take on the Canterbury Kings in the Dream11 Super Smash at 7pm.

Kane Williamson will take the field for the Northern Knights for the first time since the 2013/14 season, alongside six other current T20 BLACKCAPS, Tim Southee, Mitchell Santner, Trent Boult, Colin De Grandhomme, Tim Seifert and Scott Kuggeleijn.

"BLACKCAP Daryl Mitchell will no doubt be a key player for the Canterbury Kings against his former team and many of his fellow BLACKCAPS teammates," says a spokesperson for Northern Districts Cricket.

"This will be a content within the contest worth watching!

"Our SkyCity Hamilton Northern Spirit will kick things off at 3.30pm.

"Our girls are currently sitting fourth on the Dream11 Super Smash ladder, two points behind the Canterbury Magicians, so it is bound to be a tight battle. A handful of WHITEFERNS will add to the excitement.

"Join us at Seddon Park for an action-packed afternoon, we have got bouncy castles, a PutPut course, food trucks, music, giveaways and a display of world-class cricket."

Gates open at 2.30pm, first match beginning at 3.30pm, second match at 7pm.

"It's going to be a battle of North vs South you won't want to miss."
