Maunganui Road is now clear following a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the crash, at the intersection of Spur Ave, just after 12pm.
A police spokesperson says traffic control was put in place as the road was blocked.
"One person appears to have suffered minor injuries and an ambulance wasn't required.
"A tow truck was requested to remove the vehicles."
NZTA reports the road is now clear and there should no longer be delays as a result of the crash.
