A child has received serious injuries following an accident with a quad bike on a rural property in Matahi this afternoon.
Police received a report of a quad bike v child crash at a Matahi Valley Rd property at around 12.25pm.
"The child has serious injuries and was transported to Whakatane Hospital by ambulance," says a Police spokesperson.
