10.30am Update: Police report that a car went into a ditch in Te Puna this morning.

Around 8.20am, a car went into a ditch off Station Rd, between Te Puna Rd and Clarke Rd.

"The two occupants of the car have gone to hospital with moderate injuries," says a Police spokesperson.

A tow has been called for the vehicle.

A SunLive reader reports that there has been a vehicle crash near Te Puna this morning.

It is unknown yet how serious this is, but there are reports of traffic delays.
