Updated 12:30pm: Traffic delays are continuing on State Highway 2 following a crash.

One lane is blocked on the Mount Maunganui bound side of SH2 between the Kairua Road on ramp and Sandhurst Drive off ramp.

'We received a report at 11.35am of a single-vehicle crash on SH2,” says a police spokesperson.

'No reports of any injuries, one lane is blocked but traffic is flowing on the other lane.”

Earlier: Delays are being reported following a crash is being reported on State Highway 2, between Te Maunga and Papamoa.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says the northbound lane is blocked on the highway near Bruce Road.

"Traffic backed up to Kairua Road."
