As holidaymakers are making their return home or continuing their holiday in the Bay, motorists travelling through Katikati are being warned of some delays.

The NZTA says due to holiday congestion, road users can expect delays of between 10 and 15 minutes while travelling through this area.

'Road users are advised to plan their journey accordingly and allow extra time.
