Talley's locked out 750 workers indefinitely at five of its eight North Island plants last Wednesday.
Locked out and striking workers at the Rangiuru meat works near Te Puke.
The company locked out a further 200 workers on Tuesday at the Rangiuru freezing works near Te Puke.
Two other plants in Wiri, Auckland and Napier have not been affected by the lockout.
Delegates will attend the conference from the six affected freezing works in Moerewa, Horotiu, Rangiuru, Wanganui, Feilding and Wairoa as well as workers from Wiri and Napier, which are not affected by the lockout.
The campaigning conference will be held on Wednesday, March 7, at the Lakeland Resort in Taupo.

There is not enough money in it so better to work and earn than no work. I reckon they should have peice workers at the meat works then only need 1/2 the plants open after that.
