One person has died after a motorcycle crash in the Bay of Plenty.
Emergency services were called to the crash on State Highway 38, near Murupara, at 6.35pm.
"Emergency services treated a 24-year-old man; however he died at the scene," says a police spokesperson.
"The Serious Crash Unit is examining the scene."
