Motorists who use the Tauriko roundabout at the intersection of State Highway 29 and State Highway 36, are being warned to expect delays.
Pavement repairs are currently taking place in the area.
The NZTA says the roundabout is down to one lane from all directions for resurfacing works.
Works are expected to take place through to January 17 from 6pm to 6am each night.
