The driver of a fuel tanker which has rolled near Taupo this morning has been flown to hospital in serious condition.
State Highway One is now closed in Ohakuri, Taupo District and diversions are in a place, says a police spokesperson.
'A fuel tanker rolled around 7.40am on State Highway One near Chestnut and Thorpe Roads.
'Reports indicate the driver has been flown to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition.”
The Serious Crash Unit is attending.
