People are being warned to expect delays on the major highways leading in and out of the Western Bay of Plenty today.
For the last three days there has been high volumes of traffic, particularly on State Highway 2 near Katikati.
Video sent to SunLive yesterday by a worker from SprayMarks NZ, shows an endless row of traffic on State Highway 2 from Bethlehem to Katikati.
It was at 2pm and the man who sent it says it was smooth sailing for them as they were heading from Katikati back to Tauranga.
Further traffic delays are possible today.
