People travelling in the Coromandel are being warned to expect delays.

The NZTA is reporting a slip on State Highway 25, between Coromandel to Te Rerenga.

"Due to a slip on SH25, the road is not suitable for heavy motor vehicles.

"Caution is advised in the area."
