Reports of fault at Brookfield traffic lights

Traffic lights at Brookfield are out this afternoon.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says they passed the lights at about 3pm.

"They're flashing orange."

The incident is one of the fourth to have happened at the intersection this year with other incidents having been reported in May and January.

SunLive has contacted council as to what the cause is of the outage.
