No one was injured in a three vehicle crash that happened on State Highway two yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the nose-to-tail accident that happened near Wairoa Pa Road just before 5pm.
Traffic was already heavy at the time, with the crash adding to the congestion.
A police spokesperson says the three vehicles were initially blocking the northbound lane for a short period of time.
'The cars were able to be moved from the road to the medium strip and then removed by tow.”
