She will be visiting Wellington for the first time today.

Royal Caribbean has upped the ante again this summer with the megaship set to make 51 port visits in New Zealand, up from last season's 29 visits.

Dunedin and Wellington are set to benefit the most from the extended third season with ten and eight visits from the ship respectively, while Auckland and Tauranga will receive seven visits this season.

By itself, the Ovation of the Seas has capacity for 6000 guests and crew and has attracted new adventurous cruisers with features like a rock climbing wall, trapeze circus school, dodgem cars, FlowRider surf simulator, and a restaurant by Jamie Oliver.

I doubt he has been within a mile of any cruise ship. Ideal choice though for attracting a certain clientele. I’m sure they will enjoy the dodgems and circus.
