Update 4.10pm: A vehicle has rolled onto its side after hitting a power pole.

A police spokesperson says that the crash was reported at 2.50pm.

"Police and fire were in attendance after a vehicle hit a power pole at the end of Waimapu Pa Road in Tauranga."

"There has been no report of injury."

EARLIER:

A car is on its side following a crash near Hairini this afternoon.

A witness at the scene says a vehicle is on its side on Waimapu Pa Road.

"It appears to have sustained significant damage and all occupants are out of the vehicle."
