Update 9.30am:

Two cars have been towed following a crash on Domain Road.

A police media spokesperson says the crash happened before 9am.

'There was a two car crash on Domain Road near Doncaster Drive and The Gardens Drive at 8.55am.

'Both cars needed to be towed.”

Police say there is no indication if anyone has been injured in the crash.

Reports are coming in of a two car crash near Papamoa.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says two vehicles have crashed on Domain Road, near Doncaster Drive.

"Everyone is out of the vehicles. Both vehicles are blocking the road.

"Traffic will be delayed."

Emergency services have been called to the scene.
