An elderly woman is recovering from moderate injuries, following a crash in Mount Maunganui.
Western Bay of Plenty road policing manager acting Senior Sergeant Wayne Hunter says the incident happened on Wednesday at about 1.30pm at Maunganui Road.
'A car failed to stop at a pedestrian crossing and has struck a pedestrian.”
'She has a broken arm and a fractured pelvis.”
Wayne says no charges have been laid as of yet.
'An investigation is taking place, so until that is completed no charges will be made.”
