A small pod of dolphins has been spotted in a local estuary this morning.
A caller to the 0800 SunLive news hotline says the dolphins can be seen frolicking in the estuary.
A reporter at the scene says there are 10-12 dolphins moseying in the tide pool outside the Silver Birch Holiday Park, upstream of the bridge.
He says they are not jumping out of the water but the look as though they could be bottlenose dolphins.
People are pulling over and stopping and having a look, and the people at the campground are in their pyjamas and dressing gowns watching the pod.
