Delays are expected in the Arataki area following a two-car crash on Maunganui Road.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says two vehicles crashed on the road, near Girven Road, just after 9am.
A police spokesperson says the crash is between a van and a car.
There appears to be no injuries but the vehicles are reported to be on the median strip on the road.
Police are asking passing motorists to take care.
