Police have released the name of a man killed in a crash in the Bay of Plenty.

Hona Robinson died in a crash in Rotorua on Saturday March 31.

The 19-year-old was involved in the crash at the intersection of Edmund and Clayton Roads in Rotorua.

"Police extend their condolences to his family.

"The Serious Crash Unit continues to investigate."
