The serious crash unit continues to investigate the a crash which claimed the life of a Taupo woman.

Denise Tito died in a crash at Tirohanga on Friday.

She was 55 years old.

"Police extend their condolences to her family and friends at this sad time," says a police spokesperson.

"The Serious Crash Unit continues to investigate."
