Police can now release the name of the woman killed in a crash near Kawerau in the Eastern Bay of Plenty on Saturday.

She was Peggy Ngataierua Wikohika, 27, from Te Teko.

Police thoughts are with Peggy's whānau and friends.

Enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
