A short detour will be in place for eastbound traffic overnight on Sunday March 25 and on Monday March 26.
The detour will be in place while the road surface on the ramp from SH2 Tamatea Arikinui Drive to Takitimu Drive is repaired.
The detour will divert people off SH2 at 15th avenue, along Cameron Road to Elizabeth Street, and then back onto SH2.
The work is weather permitting but is expected to be carried out between 7pm and 5am both nights.
The NZ Transport Agency says people should expect delays and add around five minutes to their journey.
