Woman dies after Tauranga crash

A woman hit by a car on Devonport Road on Friday has died.

The lady was taken to hospital in a critical condition after a crash on Devonport Road, near 1st Ave, just before midday.

Sadly, the 76-year-old died in hospital on Saturday, says a Bay of Plenty District Health Board spokesperson.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
