A logging truck has blocked State Highway 30 in the King Country.
Police were called to the incident at 9.13am on Monday when a truck carrying logs went into a ditch in Benneydale.
The road between Mangaokewa and Tutu Roads is closed in both directions and diversions are in place.
"The male driver is up and walking around. A local Benneydale man has offered to use his tractor and get the logs off the road," a police spokesperson says.
Motorist are asked to avoid the area if possible.
