Technicians are working as quick as they can to restore power and phone in the Greerton area this morning.

Power and phone lines had been hit by a truck on Chadwick Road.

A reporter at the scene says a technician told him that "a truck has hit phone and power wires, on poles, that cross Chadwick Rd".

"They are safe and traffic is moving unobstructed."

According to powerco, there are no reports of power outages in the area.
