Santa’s on his way to the Coromandel

From this Saturday and for the next couple of weeks the man in the red suit will be taking part in Santa Parades across the Coromandel. File Photo.

You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I'm telling you why – Santa Claus is coming to town.

It might be his busiest time of the year but that's not stopping Saint Nick from packing up his sleigh and making the journey down from the chilly North Pole to the Coromandel.

From this Saturday Santa will go on a bit of a tiki tour around the peninsula and will take part in parades in all of Coromandel's main centres so children can get a look at him before he visits in the wee hours of December 25.
