A blockage occurred at the Oropi Road and State Highway 29 roundabout intersection at about 4pm when a load being towed on a trailer came free and fell to the road.
The timber framed load blocked one lane at the roundabout for about 20 minutes as the driver of the towing vehicle and emergency services worked to remove the spilled goods.
Disruption to traffic was minor, with the roundabout having two lanes making it easy enough for motorists to drive around the spilled load.

When are these drivers going to learn how to secure loads properly, i got hit off my motorbike on hewletts road before xmas, by a garage door that was"placed" on a trailer!!
