Papamoa Unlimited is offering an opportunity for any community groups, sports clubs and non-profit organisations to have a free stall at the markets in conjunction with the Pak'n Save Papamoa Santa Parade.
The markets will be held at Papamoa Plaza Sunday, November 27, 10am-3pm.
Papamoa Unlimited Events Manager Kate Percy promises the parade will be a hit.
'The Santa Parade starts at 12pm and runs down Dixon Road to Papamoa Plaza. At the Plaza on the grass there will be bouncy castles, free face-painting, petting zoos and pony rides – lots of stuff to entertain the kids.”
Kate says the parade and markets offer clubs and non-profit groups a chance to engage with their community and forge new connections.
'We thought it would be a great opportunity for groups in the community who didn't want to do a float to have a stall instead. It's a great chance for residents, too, to see what the area has to offer.”
The only requirement for groups to have a free stall is to be non-profit.
'While there's certainly a focus on Papamoa, no one who wants to be a part of our community will be turned away,” says Kate.
