Organisers of this year's Western Bay @ Work 2011 month long event are searching for organisations to take part.
The theme of this year's event, held June 20 to July 15, is sustainability in the workplace.
Western Bay @ Work is a month long event that caters to people at all stages of their working life from school leavers to migrants; those wanting to up-skill and those wanting to re-enter the workforce.
Priority One's INSTEP Manager and Western Bay @ Work project manager Lyn Parlane says right now they're seeking registrations from organisations to ensure there is a good cross section of events for all.
'A healthy workplace provides a competitive advantage,” says Lyn.
'As employers, we can attract and retain talent more easily if we can demonstrate sound sustainability vision and practices.
'Our key mission is to highlight the benefits of improved productivity through a range of measures including sustainability, so this year's theme talks specifically to this vision.”
