It's often NBA games who get superstars sitting courtside but it was the Rotorua's Pikiao premier women's team who had NBA star Steven Adams watching them today.
Steven was courtside at Westbrook Netball court watching his sister who plays for Pikiao.

The 2.13m centre who plays for Oklahoma City Thunder was obviously a huge hit with netball fans at the court.

Steven is currently on a break after his side went down 3-4 against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Western Conference final last month.
He may not have had much luck in making his first NBA grand-final but he brought a bit of luck for the Pikiao side.

Pikiao player Riwia Te Kaawa posted on Facebook pictures of the NBA star and credited him for their win over their opponents the Marist Rebels.
'The perks of playing for Pikiao, get to meet Steven Adams [because] his sister is in our prem team.”
Unfortunately Pikiao may not have their secret weapon next weekend as Steven was on a flight to Wellington tonight.
He's not only popular here in the Bay of Plenty, Steven has drawn praise from one of the legends of the NBA Charles Barkley heaped praise on Adams after Oklahoma were knocked out of the playoffs.
'Let me tell y'all something. That boy Steven Adams is real,” Barkley says on Inside the NBA. 'It's my first time watching him play in person for seven straight games.
'He is going to be a star in this league, he's unbelievable. He's tough too."
