The 37-year-old artist posted a photo of the artwork on Facebook on Sunday and it has so far received more than 3000 likes and more than 960 shares.
Following the success of his, Mr G has received requests to paint a similar mural in Minnesota.
'Due to quite a few overseas requests, I'm now wanting to paint a five storey high tribute mural of Prince at Paisley Park in his hometown Chanhassen, Minnesota,” says Mr G on his Facebook page.
'But seeking sponsorship for flights and accommodation, and help sourcing a large wall. If I can get the help, we can make it happen.”
He expects a potential five-storey US mural would take between two to three days, adding it will take more time than the one in Sydney, which took five-and-a-half hours to complete.
Mr G says the Sydney mural is a 'tribute to one of my favourite artists, a creative genius and all time legend, who was a major influence throughout my childhood and life”.
People wanting to show their support for Mr G can message him on his Facebook page or email [email protected]
