The 21st annual Tauranga Ulysses Club Easter run saw a 3km convoy travel from Mount Maunganui, to Papamoa and finish at Tauranga Hospital today.
The annual Easter run is in support of the St John, TECT TrustPower rescue helicopter and the Children's Ward at the hospital.
The Easter bunny came out for the day, arriving in style on a Spider bike.
Club president Kevin Beagley says there were at least 300 bikes in today's event and despite hoping for 500, was still very pleased with how the run went.
'It was an excellent ride. It panned out well – it was a slower ride than expected.”

Riders gear up before take off around the city, before finishing at Tauranga hospital.
Riders came from as far as Wanganui, Napier, 30 from Auckland and 30 from Hamilton. The Easter Bunny partook in the ride, arriving on a Spider bike.
Last year the event raised $2000 for TECT TrustPower helicopter and Kevin says he is hoping for the same, in addition to the Easter eggs and toys for the children.
