Young Australian celebrity Bindi Irwin has been holidaying in Rotorua over the past week.
Rumours had been circulating about her presence in the city, and were confirmed when she posted a photo on Instagram.

"Grateful for a beautiful trip with my little family to Rotorua, NZ for a week of hiking and beauty. Thank you Black Swan for having us."
A Rotorua-based man also posted on social media that he had seen Bindi and her Terri Irwin walking down Koutu Rd on Wednesday.
Bindi is the daughter of the late 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin.
She has made a name for herself as an actress, television presenter, and conservationist.
Additionally, she is known for winning season 21 of the American Dancing with the Stars.

Me old lady and me met Bindis dad STEVE on the roadside not far from his zoo on his way sharkhunting,he was a awesome guy but shy,this is true he asked us if we would join him for a cuppa on the roadside with his 2 mates,scones and tea were a treat, we have photos with him with,on our photo shelf with a lot of celebrity,ive got one with Nerida Cortese,others, the guy buthane from earth race,kevin bloody wilson,roy orbison,suzanne paul.karmal,suzanne prentice,john rolls, grey barlett,to mention a few,so enjoy it here BINDI AND MUM, travel safely,from Mumma and Teddy Bear 10-4 out, Thankyou NO1 in the Bay, you are AWESOME
