Motorbikes are not normally associated with Easter or soft toys, but the Tauranga Ulysses Club is bringing the two together in its 21st annual Easter Egg and Toy Run.
It begins at midday on April 10, starting at Nikau Crescent in Mount Maunganui and along with other entertainment the Easter Bunny is making an appearance there.

The club is seeking Easter egg, soft toy and other toy item donations and also money donations for the event.
All proceeds are going towards the TECT TrustPower Rescue Helicopter and the toys are being delivered to children's wards in Bay of Plenty District Health Board hospitals. Non-club member bikers are also encouraged to get involved and join the run.
The Ulysses Club for older motorcyclists is one of the largest organisations of its kind in New Zealand.
The club has grown to 28 branches throughout New Zealand with over 3000 members. The purpose of the club is to provide ways in which older motorcyclists can get together and show motorcycling in groups is enjoyable and practical.
Run coordinator and club president, Kevin Beagley, says bikers come from all over the Bay of Plenty and the Waikato to support the event.
'Last year we had about 300 people, but in previous years we have had 500-600.”
The run travels around Mount Maunganui, from Maunganui Road, Pacific Avenue, Marine Parade, down to Oceanbeach Road and Girven Road in Papamoa, past Bayfair, along State Highway 29, heading towards the Pyes Pa roundabout, and back down Cameron Road to Tauranga Hospital.
'The run coincides with the hospital open day where they have the TECT Rescue Helicopter at its base on Clarke Street,” says Kevin.
'The open day at the hospital is great because it gives the public the opportunity to see the bikes and the helicopter.
'Afterwards, we collect the toys and personally give them to the children's ward, or down at the DHB as well.”
The bikes begin the ride at 10am from Nikau Crescent.
The Ulysses Club asks motorists to be patient as there may be delays during the run.
