A new regional advisory board has been elected to the Bay of Plenty Sustainable Business Network.
Members have elected manufacturing industry consultant Gavin Cherrie, Bayfair operations manager Steve Ellingford and communications consultant Bruce Fraser to the new board.
Steve Ellingford is the new vice-chairman of the BOP Sustainable Business Network.
They are joined by cornerstone sponsor representatives Hendrik Metz from Fulton Hogan, Suzanne Porter from Opus and Miles McConway from Environment BOP.
The board has co-opted Comvita's learning and development manager, Nicky Benson, who is a previous national board member.
At its first meeting, new board members elected Bruce Fraser as chairman and Steve Ellingford as vice-chairman.
Bruce sees this as an exciting opportunity to build on the great reputation the region has for producing high profile sustainable businesses.
